In the midst of unspeakable loss and suffering, Job prays that he was never born. You may have known suffering in your life, and at times even cried out “Why me Lord!”
You may not know the catastrophic suffering of those like Job. Yet thousands in our world today do. Refugees fleeing civil war and genocide. Children who’ve witnessed things no child should ever see. Widows and orphans forced to live in overcrowded camps, with no relief from the heat, enduring endless days of hunger and thirst.
